Chrome or stainless steel kitchen stove/microwave vent

Can anyone tell me if you have replaced your outside hood vent with a chromed or stainless steel outside vent? If you do, where did you get it? I've been searching for one for the past year or more to replace our plastic one on our Monte and can't find one anywhere. Thanks for any info in advance!

You might take a plastic one to a good welding shop that can weld stainless and I'm sure they could fabricate one for you.

Ron - I found this one from West Marine but I did not study the specs or what diameter nipple it might fit.

Edit: specs say it is chromed plastic.
