Winter travel

My DW will be retiring the end of the year and we are looking at a 6 to 8 week trip in February, March and April. We are planning on staying near Oklahoma City, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Colorado Springs. Any campground recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

For many years, on several trips thru Albuquerque, we've always stayed at Enchanted Trails RV Park. As an added benefit, the best chili cheeseburgers are available just down the access road just before you get to the casino.

We made reservations for February in Las Vegas at the Clark County Shooting Complex. $30 for full hookups about 20 minutes from downtown. Where do you want to stay in Colorado Springs? There is a great State Park there but Pueblo State Park also is really nice. If military there is also a nice military campground there.

We have stayed at the KOA on south edge of Colorado springs. It is right south of the exit to the Fort Carson military base and is a large, flat park.
I am not sure I would want to stay there in the winter tho!!!
I have traveled from Phoenix to NC in February, tho. Just stayed on I10/20 and that is south enough to miss most bad weather.
