Route US 2 from Burlington VT to Bangor ME

Hi everyone, has anyone pulled a big rig down US2 from Burlington VT to Bangor ME. Any low bridges or other obstructions? Any great RV parks you can recommend? Your advice will be appreciated.

Vermont, Rt 2 is horrible pulling a large 5th wheel while lurching from pot hole to frost heave!!! There are a couple narrow areas in/around Montpelier, VT but nothing that will present a drive through.

Beautiful drive though, no low bridges, a slow drive, usually construction, minimal traffic. NH is better as is Maine though the hills are time consuming.

Now, would we go that route again. Yes, but slowly and cautiously since it's a normal way for us from our home to Maine.

CGs. Since VT for us is a pass through state, usually stay in a NH CG near Mt Washington/Franconia Nothch have found several that are decent. Three we have stayed in with Mountain Lake being the best

Twin Mountain/Mt Washington KOA or Lincoln/Woodstock KOA

Mountain Lake Camping Resort but getting pricey.

Maine - flip a coin as most are fine with the only one we were dissatisfied with was Sunset Point in Lubec tho many like being stacked with almost overlapping slides

Last year we went from Bar Harbor Me to Carol NH. We took i95 to US 303. Pretty good road.
We stayed at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park. Nice small place. From there we took a ride on the Cog Railway up to the top of Mount Washington weather observatory.
Also took a hike up Flume Gorge.
