Sailun tires on tow vehicle

I have used Sailuns on my RV and am very happy with them. I am now considering Sailuns from Simple Tire on my Ford F350 TV. They are a 275 65 20 Terramax. Does anyone have experience with this light truck tire?

No replies in 3 days, so I guess very few members are using the Sailun truck tires, although on a search I found a few members with these and were happy with them back in 2020.

Don`t see why you couldn`t. I think most people stick with the factory-installed tire or a close facsimile for wear, ride, and mileage Changing the game plan can lead to unsatisfactory performances sometimes. It`s not like you can return tires after a year if you don`t like them. Even Walmart will tell you to forget it.

Our 3500 DRW Ram came stock with Nexan tires of all things. Had no issues whatsoever and they did the job, but never fully trusted them. Went with Bridgestone Duravis R500D tires this time around and have been impressed with wear and ride comfort. Almost went with Cooper tires, but Bridgestone claimed the Duravis was more of a commercial tire. Time well tell.

Does Sailun make a 20” tire? Your F350 likely came with a tire load rating of 3850. Does the Sailuns compare?

I put Sailun Teramax on my ram 3500 dually and got about 50000 miles out of them. Could've squeaked a little more but living in MI, not a good idea to run on thin treads in winter

Sailun does make the 20" for my truck and is rated the same as my Goodyear's. There were 4 or 5 MOC members who were favourably impressed with these tires when I did a search on this site. They posted back in 2020. I have seen Sailuns on large highway tractors and trailers. They make a great rv trailer tire. Chinese or not Sailun knows how to make durable tires. And then there is the political problem. However, many North American companies have no problem sourcing out to China to manufacture tires previously made in NAmerica.I,m just saying.

A year ago we replaced the Michelins on our Silverado 3500 with Sailuns. So far we have been very pleased with the Sailuns not a single tire issue and the best part they were about $500.00 less than the Michelins.
