Recall notice

Good afternoon fellow, Montana members.
I’m going to be picking up a used Montana in Denver Colorado and bringing it back to British Columbia Canada. One of the things that’s required at the border is a print out of recalls. I’m told you can enter the unit serial number, and any outstanding recalls will come for the unit.
All recalls have to be corrected before crossing the border.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this information?

Another way to check for recalls (on any vehicle) is to go to the National Highway Transportation Safety Agency's website. That's probably the website people are referring to when they say you can "enter the unit serial number" to find outstanding recalls--because at the NHTSA website, you enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of your unit, and outstanding recalls come up.
