Water Regulator

How often should they be replaced?

Not quite sure what you mean with your post. I use an adjustable water pressure regulator as they are the only ones to give you full water flow and can set pressure to where you desire. Good until it fails. First one lasted four years until it developed a pin hole leak due to acidic and highly alkaline water supplies across the country.

bought a water regulator when I bought my first rig about 8 years ago and I've still been using it. The last few weeks we've had a serious drop off with water pressure to the point I tried to put water in the tank and after 5 hours we still didn't 1/3 in the tank. When I took the regulator off it took about an hour to get to 2/3 full. I'm just wondering if the regulators collect 'sediments' like some nozzle screens do from minerals in the water. BTW I bought a new one and waiting for delivery

Sounds like you may have another issue beside the regulator. You should be able to fill the tank in 15 minutes or so. Might check to see if the screen at the inlet in your convenience center is restricted.

There are a wide variety of regulators. the ones that have a pressure gage will tell you if the regulator is clogged. Some of the cheap brass ones don't last long at all.
