US border closed until Sep 21 or later

Perhaps many have seen this already, but it was announced today that the US border will remain closed until at least Sep 21st.
So, any Canadians wishing to drive down to the rally will officially now NOT be able to do so. AFAIK, flights for non essential travel are still allowed.

I'm disappointed to say I suspected this would happen. I do hope it opens next month, as there are over a million Canadian snowbirds wishing to travel south this winter, the majority of whom stayed in Canada all last winter.

I got my refund today. We would have much rather been able to attend the rally this year. We were so looking forward to it!

Yes, Canada opened the land border to US residents on Aug 9th. It was expected that it would open up the other way also, but it's now obvious that won't happen anytime soon.
