Vista Shade Awning ?

So my awning says 17', so I guess I need the 17' Vista Shade to attach to it. my second questions is what length drop are people using? 8, 9,10,11, 12 feet.

I only saw 6-11' drop Vista Shade awnings. You want to measure the drop from the awning to the ground. I went with one longer than the drop as I like to stake it out away from the RV thereby gaining more shade area. But I bought it so long ago I can't remember what length I went for. If you really want to know I can check it tomorrow.

I ordered a different brand. They have an eight foot drop. Here’s what they look like hanging from my 2018 3120.

Here they are with the bottoms pulled out and attached to stakes using bungees.

Quick question on this long ago post. So on the width, if my factory awning is 17', do I go with a 17' width Vista Shade or a 16' one. The gal I spoke to said to go one size smaller. I just want to make sure before I place my order.
