Great to see! They make great transmissions and the rumor is that they designed the Ford Torque Shift. I hope it is true, so far I like my T/S Ford and the way it holds the truck back is pretty nice on steep grades

We also like our Allison. It is what will have me driving another GM truck next time as well. Just like the MOC and Montanas, Allison is a difference maker.

I love the tow haul mode that came in my '05 Chevy. Going down 8 and 10 % grades without using brakes is awesome. One of you said just let the Allison work, it is smarter than us, You were absolutely right. GO Allison.......Phil

Also love it Tow haul is amazing. Also like that you have an external filter so you can do preventive maintenance on the Ally!

Lots of folks aren't aware of it, but the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank, the biggest, baddest and best tank in the world, has an Allison in it...a bit heavier duty than ours.

Going thru West Virginia and finding out we had no brakes on the Montana made a believer out of me on Allison Transmissions. It kept me at a steady 65 going thru the mountains and no increase in speed going down the hill. I knew something was wrong leaving Goshin, but not to a point of having no brakes at all. The main electrical wire leading from the brake server to the brakes had come apart at the axle on the Montana. Montana workers had stuffed the wires back into the body and didn't leave enough flex for up and down motion of the axles. We drove over bad roads(I80/90) south of Chicago going to Goshin and thats where it must have come apart. Thanks Allison.
