Norcold 2118 Dead

I have a Norcold model 2118 that has died and I mean no power what so ever. I've check the fuses, the power plug and all is good. I even unhook the refrig and plug in the vacuum to ensure there power to the plug, it was good. I've unhook the motherboard and check both fuses and they were good. I'm at a lost, anybody had this problem and if so how did you fix it. And yes I have a mobile repair person coming next week we hope?

Will it work on propane, is the control screen dead? If the controls are dead you may likely have a 12v issue since the controls are 12v.

Thanks all, I rechecked the 5 amp fuse on the motherboard which looked good, but I rechecked with a ohm meter and it was bad replace it and I'm back on. Thanks again.

2118 No Power

I had the same issue... no power. I replaced the 5 amp DC fuse. It lasted about an hour and then failed again. Traced problem to the cooling fans behind the fridge. Ended up installing 3 new computer fans in the top fridge roof vent and one fan in the bottom access panel. My fridge is not on a slide out, so I wired everything in the bottom access panel. I unhooked the old fans and left in place as the only way to get them out is to remove the entire fridge (not doing that). Fridge is working better than before. I have a 2017 3280FK.

Norcold fridge ]
As Daryles said above try this:

If the red light is on the limit switch try the magnet. On mine I had to leave the magnet on for a few seconds to make it rest. I also had to stack the magnet to make it strong enough. Good luck

It’s been almost 2 weeks since thread was started, I’m wondering if the OP has found a fix. If not, I would suggest removing the black covering on the motherboard and test for 12 volts being present on both sides of the 5 amp automotive style fuse. Just looking at the fuse assumes that voltage is present and skips an important troubleshooting step.
