Crystal,

First, welcome to the forum.

What do you plan to run with your inverter? It will determine what size is needed.

We used AIMS and Victron inverters in the yachting world. AIMS is easier to setup and easier to troubleshoot, and they have excellent technical people who will answer phones and emails quickly. Victron are good but have a lot of parameters to setup. We are now RVing so we'll install an AIMS inverter in our 5th wheel. The AIMS inverter/chargers are very reliable as well. Here's a link to their 3kw unit. https://invertersrus.com/product/aim...lf30w12v120vr/

I second AIMS! I had one in my last trailer. It's a beast! AIMS is Chinese built. It's also branded as Sigineer Power which is a bit less expensive. They have built in smart chargers and transfer switches.

We had a 2000w Go Wise Inverter. The actual output voltage was:
Hot to ground = 60vac
Neutral to ground = 60vac
Hot to Neutral 120vac.
It died last summer while we were in Canada dry camping.
We had to buy another. We found one at Canadian Tire (actually more like a super Walmart + Home Depot rolled into one).
It was a
Motomaster Eliminator 3000W (6000W surge) PSW.
The actual voltage output is exactly like you have at home in your wall receptacles. We are very pleased with it.

We have a GoPower 3000 watt inverter, installed 6 years ago, and we use it about 5 months a year. Not a hitch so far running a res.fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, light use microwave, and tv almost every night.

Welcome to the MOC. We use all Victron equipment. It is very reliable and durable.

Nice set up. Not everyone has 1120 watts solar panels and 300 AH lithium batteries. With a sunny day you don't even need to run a gen!
