Is this true?

Looking for experienced reflection in regards to when to change tires. I have had a 5th wheel for close to 20 years. I upgraded to GY 614 tires several years ago and have routinely tried to change them out about 5 year intervals.

Today I asked a tech at the Rv repair shop I use what they suggest to be an appropriate time to replace them. I received a very loud "2 1/2 years" and no longer if you want to feel safe.

We are planning on taking our 2013 Montana 3100 rl to the Kentucky derby from California in April. I have never tried the Sailun tires, but it seems everyone is raving about them and the relatively low price.

My tires look great but it is the unknown that concerns me. Would hate a blowout in the middle of nowhere.
