Boat ride Great Lakes Rally

Hi,
Thank you so much for organizing this Rally. It will be the closest to our home in NY. I have never been to Michigan, sounds like there is tons to see and do.

We would be very interested in the boat ride with the group! Count us in!

Boat Tour

Thinking strongly about taking the boat tour of Picture Rock ourselves. Have not been on that one but have been to Put-In-Bay in Lake Erie and hoping it is similar if not more spectacular than that. Count us in!

There is a boat ride in Munising called Riptide It is a larger jet boat that is run by a very nice family. My wife and I have been on it a few times and it was a great fun experience for us. Being a jet boat he is able to get very close to the rock formations. Just another option for you when visiting up here.

Due to the positive and enthusiastic response we WILL be scheduling a boat tour of the Pictured Rocks National Seashore in Munising, MI during the GL Regional Rally. Details as to date and time are still being worked out, stay tuned! We will post necessary info soon so as to allow ample time for those interested in participating to make reservations for the trip.

Are there sites still available to attend this rally? If so, what is the cost?

Thank you to the Chapin’s for all the work and efforts making this a very successful GLRR rally. Hopefully we can get some dates for 2024 and have a great repeat. The UP is a favorite area for us.

Ron and DiAnn,
We had a great time and just wanted to tell you what a great job you did. Thanks for picking up the sausage for us too! I love your state at least for the warmer months! Lol! Hope to do this again! Hint hint!

I'm so disappointed to read that we missed this year's rally at one of our favorite U.P. campgrounds! I'm wondering if there were any discussions on a 2024 rally? I would love to pencil in the dates in your camping calendar early so we don't end up scheduling something else.

For all Rallies go to the National and regional rallies postings for all dates as they are posted . At the present time the Western and Central Plains ones are the future ones posted at this time. Western one in April and Central Plains in July. https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...play.php?f=317

My name is Mark Utz. We met at the 2023 rally in Goshen earlier this year. My wife and I were camped on the other side of the building you were backed up against and are friends with the couple you were parked next to. I am writing to get a little more info on the DC charging system you showed me between your truck and fifth wheel. I would appreciate it if you could send me a website or some other info where I can look into it further.

Thanks
Mark Utz

We're not sure if you have us confused with someone else. We weren't camped against a building. We were over in the 400's. BUT, we do have large gauge wires/connector from the truck battery to the rv solar batteries. It is not a DC charger. Could that be what you're talking about?

Doesn't sound like what I saw on the other rig. I would be interested in seeing what you have. If you could send any info on what you have I would appreciate it.

Thanks
