Actual Pin/Hitch Weight 3121RL

Hi Everyone,
I am wondering if any of you have scale certified pin/hitch weights for your 3121RL?
Could you share those please and indicate if you have a W/D included, generator, amount of gear and water when weighed.
Thanks!

We do not have a w/d or generator, but I do carry a small 2500 watt Champion in the generator compartment. The weights in my log book are all Cat Scale weights except the B&W companion hitch, I weighed the 2 pieces separately for accuracy of the notes.
The empty weights were on our way home from new delivery with nothing in the trailer except the power cord in the basement. There was two batteries and 2 full propanes.

The loaded weights were on our way to Florida last winter, loaded for 3 1/2 months. We don’t travel overly heavy, everything that you would have on a normal camping trip plus extra clothes and tools and a few extra appliances like air fryer, instant pot etc. 2 non-electric bicycles on the trailer hitch. About 10 gallons of water in the black and gray tanks and 15 gallons in the fresh water tank.

Lots of room. One of the many reasons we went for the Monty over SOB.

We just weighed our 2022 3121RL last month. If my math is correct, our pin weight was 2,780 pounds. There was no water in the tanks and we do not have a W/D or a generator.

Here you go.
Empty tanks.
Maybe 20 gallons freshwater @ 8lbs per gallon.
No generator.
No W/D

Now that’s pretty good. 60 lbs heavier on the pin and identical on the axles.

The basement was full but no food or clothes loaded, so another couple hundred pounds at the most.

The standard ''estimate'' for loaded PW is 20% of the GVWR, the OP is very close:

20% of 16,350 = 3,270

OP's loaded PW = 3,320

Thanks!
All those weights are kind of close to ours but I weighted the left and right side separately and found that the drivers / left side weighted 700 pounds more than the right! It carries the additional bedroom slide, bathroom, pantry, kitchen and TV. The passenger / right side has a hallway and a dinette, big difference!

Posting pictures on the MOC isn't too difficult once you know the process. Lots of members do just that. Be sure to take the photo in Landscape mode.

Go to https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=70323 and read posts #8 and #25.

If you upload the pictures to the MOC, subsequent viewers can blow them up to a larger, more viewable size. And you will avoid the problem where the picture hosting site decides to no longer allow web forum access (Tinypic, Photo Bucket, etc.)

I have a 2015 3100RL which is pretty close to your model. My weights all with rig fully loaded: Pin: 3,140#, Axles: 9,640# and full weight is 12,780#. All of my weights were done on a CAT scale at a truck stop.

Each of us loads are rigs differently, would recommend you CAT scale yours to get your exact weights.

Weighed our 2022 3121rl Legacy on the local CAT scales at the Western Regional Rally in Delores Colorado in June. We do not have a generator, or a W/D and only the 200w solar. Black and grey tanks were empty and we had 10-20 gallons of water in the fresh water tank. We had summer clothes and food supplies for an 8 or 9 day trip. I do carry a pretty heavy bag of tools including battery powered tools that probably weighs 30 or 40 lbs.

truck only hitched to trailer
Steer axle 5140 5220
drive axle 3860 6880

trailer axle 10740
gross weight truck and trailer 22840

3020lb hitch weight
