Brand of water heater

When I dewinterized I forgot to turn off the water heater bypass and turned on they electric water heater from the control panel, I knew it was going to be a while "not like gas" anyways I think I fried they element from being dry.I don't see a brand or anything It's a 2022 3121RL. If any one has a part number that would be even better.

Dean,

If it has an anode rod, it is a Suburban. If not, it is an Atwood. I believe most are Suburban.

The Suburban element is part #520900. Make sure you get one along with the gasket. You will also need a wrench to R & R the element. https://www.amazon.com/Suburban-5209...s%2C383&sr=8-3

If you really don't know what the element is, you can always remove it and take it to ANY RV dealership parts store and they will let you know, and have an immediate replacement for you. There's no waiting or ordering on line that way.

Yes, if there is no water in the water heater and you turn on the electric, it takes all of 3 seconds to burn out the heating element. I've done that myself a couple times now. On my current water heater, I had to purchase the special water heater socket tool in order to remove it. I had to search high and low, but I finally found one at a Camping World in Kentucky, just by accident. I nabbed the thing even though I didn't need it at that moment. It did come in REAL handy a few weeks later! Wonder why?

You can pickup an element at Lowes or Home Depot, and probably at other Hardware Stores.

Just an FYI, I had to replace my element too. The one I got at the local hardware store wasn't nearly as long as the Suburban one even though they are BOTH rated the same wattage. I believe the longer Suburban element will heat the water faster (more surface area).
Also to help get the element out/in (torque) I put wrenches on the bar going through the element wrench.
