Black tank cleaning question

Green Gobbler Enzyme Drain Cleaner can this be used to clean your black tank and your grey tanks in your RV or is it too strong and will damage you tanks and tubing? I've tried about everything else to help clean my tank sensors but so far nothing seems to work. We use this product for our home drains and it really works well on those!

Most tank sensors work for a short period of time then not so much. If you find a way to clean them let the rest of us know about it. We would all be interested.

I have used the Unique Digest It tank cleaner with success. Problem is, the gages only worked properly for a short time then went back to reading full even when empty.

I think any enzyme eater will work well with RV tanks. If is "enzyme" eaters and not chemicals, like Drain O, or something like that. Those are too caustic and even plumbers recommend NOT using those types of chemicals down the drains and such.

The enzyme eaters also do a great job on your pipes. Once they are inside your holding tanks, they do work well there. So, you have nothing to be concerned about.

Personally, I use "Zep". See my post from earlier: Click here.

But, a long story short, I found the best way to push the "stuff" out of the black tank is with a toilet wand down the toilet. The best way to "clean" the walls and bottom of the tanks from all the stuff that sticks on and dries is an enzyme eater.
