3761 Inverter

I believe I am having issues with my inverter. Where is the GFI for the inverter in a 3761, having trouble finding it on mine.

Well I dont have the same trailer but I do have a 2000 watt inverter. Typically the GFI or GFI's (if not on the inverter it self) are located where water may be present such as the Kitchen, bathroom or basement. You will also have a GFI breaker in the breaker panel.

The only GFI that I can spot in the 360 view on the 2022 is in the coffee bar. But there must be another, maybe in the basement?

I have a GFI on the kitchen island that protects the kitchen outlets and one in the basement that protects the bathroom and the outdoor outlet.

GFI is located on the inverter face, facing the rear of the coach so you can't see it. Every time I start my inverter it trips and I have to reset it. that's how I know, we have the same coach. good luck!

You have another problem if your GFI trips every time you turn on the inverter. Just saying.

Ya, I know. In the coming months I am replacing it with a Victron 3KVA Multiplus II inverter, 1700Watts of solar with 4 solar chargers. This will run the entire rig. Know anyone needing my existing inverter? it'll be for sale! Thanks for the heads up, Foldbak!

I’ve looked all over the inverter and mine does not have a GFI. I’ve even taken out a panel and exposed all of the wiring and no GFI, the inverter is directly wired. I’m pretty sure the inverter is dead, I have 12.5 volts going in and it does not power up when the unit is unplugged.

Mine does the same thing. With that said, with shore power secured if I cycle the DC input power Off and then back On again, my unit will go into inverter mode supplying 120vac output. I have the CSW2012-HX model. I have a build order number for a replacement unit since one was not in stock.

Edit: My GFIC downstream of the inverter is in my storage basement. Your unit is quite possibly different.

Your inverter is like mine. The GFI is not on the inverter. It's in the basement and or in the bathroom or on the kitchen island. As far as turning it off and on if programed to allow the power button to function, you need to have shore or gen power on for that function to work.

In the front bathroom. My complaint with the 3761FL is the positioning of the inverter in the basement. If they had just turned it 90 degrees it would be easily accessible to hit the reset button and access the refrigerator plug. GFI in the front bathroom

Totally correct. Didn't realize he was looking for inverter GFI. I'm going to remount mine. Pain to reach. Mine trips about 25% of the time when disconnecting from shore power
