Storing Montana in Arizona
I need recommendations as to how to store our Montana in Arizona for the summer from May thru Oct. We are in the Casa Grande area for the winter. This is our first time in Arizona. Don't want to pull it back up to Idaho, or home to Alaska.

Ron and Nelly, I'm sure there will be AZ natives with some info for you. However, since we lived where the temps were in triple digits a lot, I'll give you some suggestions. Go north. We spent a summer year before last in Flagstaff to get away from the heat. Heat can do almost as much damage as freezing can. Anything stuck on comes loose, including wall border, candles melt, etc.
Good luck
Happy trails......................

Ronnelly, I keep our fiver in covered storage year round here. As Parrothead said, the heat is just as bad as the cold, and in some cases worse. We pay right at $100/month for the covered site. If that sounds like something you are interested in, let me know and I can recommend a couple of places for you, including the one where we park ours. If you don't need covered, then there are literally dozens or RV storage yards around.

I wouldn't leave mine down here in the Summer. The covered parking sounds like a GOOD idea.

We would be interested in a covered storage. Wonder how much it would cost for the Montana and the truck?

I believe you pay for the space...literally. In other words, if you could fit both your truck and Montana in one space you would only pay for 1 space. If not, you might have to pay for two spaces. I'm not sure how long the spaces are where I am at, but I am guessing they are appx. 40' under cover, maybe 45'? Here's a pic to give you an idea what it looks like where we store ours. There's a bit of glare but you will get the idea.

We are in Casa Grande. Where could we find a covered storage like yours in Arizona. Thanks for your help.

Covered storage is the only way to go. The sun would do damage to both the interior and exterior of the trailer. I pay $100/mo or $1100 a year...if I pay a year ahead.
