Winterize problem

Attempting to winterize my new Montana by drawing antifreeze into lines. Water pump will not stop running and nothing comes out of any faucets.

As the pump is running, make sure all faucets are closed, slowly open your drain valves one at a time and let the air out of the system. Make sure water heater is in bypass mode, also. Pump should work. If not, try to hold your hand over the antifreeze jug and blow air into the jug trying to create a vacuum. Semper Fi.

You don't say what model of year you have for a unit. This would be helpful. Also besides what Joe has said if you are pumping the "pinkstuff" from the center, make sure you are not you're not filling the fresh water tank and the valve is closed to it. I have an older unit and have not control center so I can't give you the exact way of doing it for the newer units. Go to the top of the page and click on the Search Engine and click on it and then type in winterizing and you should come up with other threads that have been posted on this subject also. I know I've seen numerous posts on this very subject!

Good luck!

Thank you for the responses. The unit is a 2013 3625RE.

I tried Captain Joe's suggestions and did not work. I believe the pump is losing vacuum so will make sure the connections are tight.

Semper Fi Captain Joe.

Try putting a second gasket in the hose connection. That took care of mine when it would not take suction. If there is any air leak at all, it will not pick up the pink stuff.

Great. Did mine yesterday and I also needed the second gasket and the air release from two drains.
