Broken Water Lines

Winter brings water line concerns. Do any of you back along a back-up kit of water lines like U-joints etc, for below sings????

If so, what should a novice run to Camping World to purchase???

Near your water pump you will find a loose-ended white hose. If you want to winterize, drain water tank take anode rod out of water heater. You will find a valve going to water heater. turn 1/2 turn it keeps anti-freeze from going to water heater. You will find another valve at the loose hose. open it stick hose in anti freeze turn pump on open all water spigots until you see pink. Run enough to get some in traps. Takes 1 & 1/2 gals. of anti freeze & 10 mins. after tank is drained.

Jaybird, I'm not quite sure I understand the question. I do not have any spare water lines of the type inside the Montana. I have several external water hoses, however. In my case, I got tired of carrying different length hoses so now just carry half a dozen ten footers, the light blue ones available at Walmart. I also, at Walmart, bought quick connect connectors and have them on the Montana's city water connection and on the regulator I have installed on a Y adapter (goes on the park's water spigot) as well as about four of the hoses. Connecting several hoses together is quick and easy.

If we're not answering your question, please post back and let us know.

While I was hunting down a water leak I saw the lines are marked for pressure they can handle. It ranged from 60psi at high temperatures (I assume that is water temperature) to something like 140 or 160 psi at "normal" temperatures. I forgot the exact numbers but remember thinking the lines are not likely to be a problem. On our prior Montana we froze water lines several times and never had a problem with a line.
