First Montana, Second Fifth Wheel

Just picked up a 3901RK. Came from an FR 37TSX13 toy hauler. We can't take the golf car along anymore, but we realized we spend more time IN our RV than OUT of it. This rig makes it desirable to spend some time in it. What a great layout. We spent years trying to find "the one", but it didn't exist (and probably never will), and, although it's pretty large, it's a great "couple's trailer". Not much different from being at the home base. Dogs love it. I can cook outside. The gas range makes a killer pizza. I will be searching other threads before I post about the pros vs. cons. Believe me, there are some things to be desired, but she ain't failed us yet!

Congrats on getting your new Montana. That's a nice "camper" and you should be comfortable inside, for sure.

Years ago, when we were tent campers and later pop-up campers, we often wondered why people would park their RV in a campground and then never come outside. We'd never see them.

Well, when we got our Montana (after previous tent camping, pop-up camping, and 3 travel trailers), the Montana was so comfortable and such a pleasure to be in, spend time in, sleep in, and just hang out in, we've become one of those old-folks no one ever sees unless we get into the truck to go somewhere!

Yep, there's nothing wrong with that at all! I'm glad to hear you enjoy your new Montana .... inside and out!

Happy Camping!

Yaa hay der. Ofda you betcha. We're from up nort Duluth area, transplanted to Dodgeville WI years ago and now in Western Illinois. We get told all the time we have an accent and say things incorrectly. Well guess what we think ,,lol.
Enjoy your new camper, ours is a 2011 and has been super reliable.
