Lithium Battery 300AH, 4 cell or 8? What’s the benefit? Price is close, just don’t understand the difference.

What is the voltage of the 4 cell compared to the 8 cell? That might be a deciding factor.

Small cells improve a pack's reliability. The failure of one small cell in a set of many small cells in parallel will reduce the pack capacity. But the failure of one large cell in a single series string will completely disable the pack.

Maybe check out Will Prowse YouTube channel. He has many videos where he has taken batteries apart and examined their "innards".
