New folks
Hello to everyone!
Ron and Annie Dougherty have been RV owners since 2009. On our third camper now - a 2017Montana 3811 MS. We love the huge front window and walk through closet area. The Morryde stairs and pin box were also involved in our decision to purchased.
We live in central Indiana and are retired.
We learned of this site over the past weekend from some others Montana owners we were camping with.

We are considering the 3811MS. Can you tell me what tow vehicle you are pulling it with. My concern is making sure we don’t buy a unit bigger then our vehicle should be towing! We liked this floor plan and the front living with the huge rear storage compartment. Your input is appreciated. Susan

You really don't want make your decision based on what someone else is doing. You need to looked at the weight stickers on both the trailer and the tow vehicle and make sure you are legal. If you are normal your RV will be near the maximum gross weight after you have loaded it for camping and filled the propane and fresh water. A lot of the Montana's are 16k as a max. If the Tow Guide for your pickup can't legally tow a fifth wheel weighing that much, then pick a different TV or RV.
Remember it's not what you pull, it's can you stop it also.
I struggled with the right pickup decision, until my insurance man said he would not insure me if I knowingly was overloading my truck.
