Samsung Refrigerator Wiring Diagram

I've been unable to find the wiring diagram for the RF18HFENBSP reefer in our 5r. They are usually pasted to the back or inside the PCB cover. I've got what may be an issue with the inverter. Cold compressor, single red LED blink every 3 seconds. I was prying on the input wiring trying to see the labels and I bumped the blue relay next to it and the compressor started. It cooled for ~24 hours, then the same thing. Now I cannot bump, thump or tap the relay into submission. There is 120vac at the input (red & black). Not sure about the two blue wires on the input. Probably need the inverter ($130-$145) but would like to make a few other test. I have the values for the temperature thermisters so can test those at the main board. Anyone have a diagram for the wiring?

There was no diagram on the back of mine when I installed it. I would be very surprised if you could find this info on the internet, but who knows. Good luck on yours.

It is very odd. I've worked on thousands of Samsung reefers and have never seen one without a diagram. Unless I can find one similar, I might be SOL!

Masterdrago - I googled a few things this morning and found info for Samsung rf19 - see screen shots below. This may be close enough to help you figure it out. The service manual had a couple of pages of diagrams and good schematic overview. Maybe go to this page and try to print what you need.

Interesting. When I went to the first of the links and the manualslib page I got an immediate warning from Windows Defender even though I don't use Windows Defender. Never have. Some sort of spoof maybe. I simply killed Firefox and went into the manualslib thru another portal/search. Thanks.

It would be good to have a link to the service manual that you pictured. I've been lead down some rabbit holes but nothing real to download. Just some pictures of the front cover on pinterest but not real stuff.

I did find and download the owners manual 88 pages english and spanish. Mostly how to set controls and adjust hinges sort of stuff but no wiring diagram. Also say some images of some wiring but not this model and no inverter board. thanks again

I've visited the ManualsLib a couple of times and have always been warned off the site by Bitdefender which is my online security protection. Like you, I bypassed it once via Firefox, but never got anywhere as to accessing the manual they supposedly had. I'm guessing it is a site not to be trusted or a site that harvests your search habits.

It was just really weird to have Windows protection come up since I never have used it on this old W7Pro64 desktop. In fact, I just checked and it is turned off. I've used Kaspersky for ~20years and it didn't raise an alarm.

Found out... from a tech buddy that had access to schematics.... the blue wires are to the compressor overload protector, the or/brn are 5vdc from main brd - freq signal to activate inverter, blu, prpl, blk 80-220 v to compressor windings. Inverter brd should be here tomorrow.
