Power

have a '21 3120RL, and we are currently plugged in to 30AMP service. Woke up this AM to a fridge reading LO DC signal. Power at the pedestal reads 121, so that appears to be good, my batteries however were down to 9V per my volt meter. Placed a charger on them to see if I could get the batteries up. I'm not an electric expert in any way, but I'm thinking I have either a battery issue or a converter or inverter issue. Does anybody know what charges the batteries, is it the converter or the inverter? Also does anybody know where either of those are located in a 3120RL? Appreciate your thoughts and helop............

Your converter charges the batteries, usually. Have you verified that the battery disconnect is turned on? That is the position where the red plastic key can not be pulled out of it's socket. If it is turned off, no 12 volt power can get to the batteries from the converter.

First, check what Bob said. If it's on then it's most likely your converter. Mine is located behind the wall in the basement, mounted upside down under the floor. Yours is likely about the same. Pretty easy to get to.

You can disconnect the batteries and use a volt meter to measure the converter output just to be sure. It can also be a loose ground...worth checking. But my money's on the converter. Ours went out 2-3 years ago. Fairly easy to replace.

First thing I would check is to make sure your 50/30 adapter is good. You may have lost one hot leg. And that hot leg may be what powers the converter. If you have a voltmeter do one of two things. One, unplug your power cord from the back of the trailer and check to see if you have 120 vac on both hot pins. And/or two, open up your inside circuit breaker panel and see if you have 120 vac on all your circuit breakers.
