Heating Blankets
I haven't heard or seen any topics on heating blankets, so I thought I would make a contribution. When we travel, you never know when cold weather will creep in at night. We always have our heating blanket on the ready just in case. I use plastic coated wire staples under the bed overhang for the blanket connection on each side. We have individual controls for each side of the bed. Then we drape the control over the reading light and plug in the cord. Hanging it on the reading lamp lets you have easy access to the controls. We usually turn it on before calling it a night. A toasty bed is better then a cold bed, lol. When bringing in the slides, make sure you unplug the cord or you may cause some damage. Just a thought for those cold nights.

We're similar, but we use a heated Mattress Pad vs a Blanket. But when it gets cold, nothing like crawing into a nice warm bed.

We use a heated mattress pad as well. I've never actually owned a heating blanket only the pads.

On a cool night we always enjoy a pre-warmed bed from our heated blanket!

Electric blanket here too. That way we can put the heat down to 55 and still stay warm. Does require a stocking cap though. Put a 115 volt inverter powered outlet next to the bed so we have power on the road when dry camping. The logic for the heating blanket infers it will not work on non sine wave alternating current. That, and the electronics (TV, satellite dish, and receiver) it supplies, is why we got the pure sine wave version of inverter. Works all the above on 600 watts.

We try and stay in 50 amp sites so we can run the fireplace which heats the rear living room where our doggie sleeps and an EdenPure in the kitchen aimed at our bedroom. It does a great job of keeping our bedroom warm. To keep power requirements down we don't use an electric blanket and we'd like to wake up to a warm room versus getting out of a warm bed into a cold room.
Fortunately, we fulltime in southern California and can only do this because we don't venture to cold climates like many of you brave souls. However, we've already had some below 32 nights even where we are. With 50 amp we don't run propane heat, since the electricity is free and we aren't burning through more expensive propane.

Gotta Love free 50 amp Electric at our Resorts we stay at, the only time I use my propane is to cook and keep the underbelly warm on real cold nights ,other than that I crank the Electric Blanket, space heaters, Fireplace, water heater etc.. it is always warm in the fall and Winter in our rig..Being a fulltimer in the NW it saves a lot of cash
