Battery question

I purchased 2 new batteries last September. By mistake, one battery is a Marine/RV 24M650 and the other a Deep Cycle 24RVDC battery purchase at two different locations because of stocking. I kept the batteries on a battery tender all winter. Now the Deep Cycle battery when on battery tender, the light won't go off. The Marine/RV battery will go off after a few minutes showing it is fully charged. By running both batteries in the trailer, did I damage the Deep Cycle battery. The light won't go off on the Deep Cycle after several hours. Has that battery gone bad. BiMart has a 1 year free replacement. Re the Deep Cycle and the Marine/RV not compatible or the Deep Cycle faulty?
