Guy in Oregon helped me fix my dryer in Georgia!
My dryer stopped drying in the middle of a load of unmentionables today. After surfing for 30 minutes I found a series of videos on YouTube (where I never go) that showed me how to disassemble my Sears dryer and find the broken high-temp thermostat that was keeping it from drying.
He's a British guy living in Portland and he "fixed" a dryer in Georgia. How cool! OZZ, CAN YOU DO THAT???
Click here to visit the man's web site. He's my newest best friend!

My personal rule for putting things back together is to make sure there are no parts left over!

Local appliance shop had the part! No parts left over! Dryer heats! Unmentionables tumbling!!! TURBOCHARGED!
I'd take a photo but some smarty may say it was a "before" shot...

I thought that some unmentionables should never go in a dryer. On the other hand it's probably not a good idea to hang them outside on a clothesline either... unless you need the attention.
That's why I heard one man complaining, "I don't like the panties hanging on the shower" (or words to that affect). Wasn't that in a movie? "The Goodbye Girl". Richard Dreyfus tells this to Marsha Mason after he's invited to move into HER apartment. I would never tell that to my wife or I'd have to go use the hose outside.
Wow, we mustn't forget how important the reliance on our appliances.

. . . remember Steve Martin drying his face on John Candy's mega-sized drawers in Trains Planes and Automobiles?
