Has anybody stayed there? I know it is first come first serve.
Can't fine any reservation near West Yellowstone.
Any recomendations for other forest camping would be welcome
Anybody camp ground hosting around there?

I assume you are looking for Nat. Forrest CG's as there are plenty of RV parks in the city.

Some sites at Bakers Hole have power only. There is no dump, so we use one in town (city ?). You do need to get there before noon for the good sites however there always seems to be late arrivals who get a spot. Rainbow Point (USFS) is also close by.

Wow! I went last year and stayed at Grizzly RV Park. But come to think of it, I think I booked when they opened in March or April for a July stay. Guess I need to keep that filed away for future reference.... Oh, sorry for your problems finding someplace.

You didn't say when you are going to be there. Red Rock Rv is 20 mile from West. Valley View is 15 from West. Did you check Mammoth?

You might also try Madison Arm Resort, Jarred's Wild Rose Ranch, and there are now two KOA.s just outside West.

We stayed at the Koa just outside of West Yellowstone. We enjoyed our stay there, about 10 mins. from town.

Another option Is Henry's Lake State Park in Idaho about 15 miles west of West Yellowstone and a better option than most of the commercial parks anyways. Most sites have water and electric.

fishing bridge cg is so much more convenient to all the park I would rather stay there than anywhere else. I know reservations are hard to get but it doesn't cost to ask and keep checking often if you're not lucky the first time.
