Washer

We have a washer in our 3761fl Montana. Can anyone tell me does the washer empty into the grabtanks or the black tank? I would think the gray tank but we used the washer and not much water came out of the gray tank.

Mine empties into a black tank. I asked the same question to the forum when we got our washer/dryer install done and the general answer was - it varies with no consistent reason. You will need to watch yours to see which tank fills up.

As Mike said, it varies. I have seen the front black or gray as well as straight to the outlet and no tank. Anything is possible.

Mine dumps into the grey tank.

Simple way to find out. Completely empty all your tanks. Now run the washer. After it finishes its cycle, pull each tank valve and see which tank the water flows out of. Then you'll know for sure.

My ‘04 3295RK empties into the front gray tank. Wondered that myself some years back so I figured it out when I de-winterized. I wish it was the black as I am a lot easier on that tank than the gray.

The '10 2955RL we had required a Sewer Hook-up as the Washer didn't drain into any tank, just direct into the sewer outlet.

Are you sure? I have never seen where Montana plumbed the washer to two different tanks. Most go to the grey tank, occasionally they use the black tank because it was easier, and, in the past, directly to the sewer outlet.

Looks like there would be probable cross contamination between black and gray tanks if the washer drain was connected to both tanks. Just sayin.......
