Slides In, or Out?

Guess they didn't get the message.

My son used to work at a state park in Virginia Beach. A guy pulled out of his site one day with the slides out. Clipped a tree on the way out and tore a slide completely off the RV. Hummm, what’s that whistling sound when I go down the road

Download the Lippert NOW app from Google play store. Lots of good info, manuals, TSB, troubleshooting etc.
Lippert also has excellent help desk support.
Phone: 574-537-8900
Email: customerservice@Lci1.com

There are instructions in the app for emergency retracting the slides.
Hope this helps someone...

Yep you are Lynwood. One of the first things I do before pulling out is check both mirrors to look down each side of the rig.

I suspect he could not get them closed and in frustration is trying to get to a shop that can help. Not smartest decision.

Think he may be a little over weight too. Look at the way the wheels are splayed out.

Wonder if it was being stolen? Hitched up and took off. No time to mess with slides.

At my local dealership, I've seen them move trailers around with the slides out. But that was done with a fork-lift with the hitch attached to the forks, and only in their lot.

Where was this photo taken? Road signs in the distance (middle right) are not clear enough.

I was actually thinking "REPO", but stolen works too.

If stolen, pretty dumb move. Bet the first cop who spots him pulls him over.

I believe it was taken in Wichita Ks on Highway 54.
