Furnace not lighting

Have 2018 HC 305 Furnace not lighting. Battery is good, have Domtec digital thermostat, it looks to be okay, everything else it effects runs. I believe I have plenty of propane. Any suggestions appreciated. The trailer is 50amp but I only have 30amp where I am at.

What exactly is it doing when you set the TStat for heat? Fan blow? Try to ignite but doesn’t? Ignites but turns right off? Ignites and runs for several minutes then shuts off?

If the fan is blowing and not igniting, or attempting to ignite then the first thing to check is the sail switch. It’s easily accessible on your rig (same as mine). It could just be dirty and need to be cleaned.

Thank you for your reply. Where would I see the sail switch?

When you pull the exterior panel you can see it. It’s screwed in with 2 screws and should have 3 wires attached. Just unscrew it and pull it out of it’s opening far enough to see the contacts. If there’s lint or dirt in the way it should be fairly obvious. Just blow or brush it out. Make sure it looks clean and moves freely. Reinstall it and try again.

You can look up videos on the subject as well to make sure you know what you’re looking for. This troubleshooting step is a very easy one to check. There is an on/off switch also in that vicinity when you pull the cover off. Make sure it’s on.

If that doesn’t solve it then please report back on exactly what it does when you first set your TStat.

There are several manuals in the Files Section that might help you figure out what is what and what is wrong. Here are three of them:
atwood propane furnace.pdf
Atwood Furnace Training Manual
RV Furnace Troubleshooting.pdf

Remove your furnace cover and check the exhaust tube with a flashlight, I have found that to be the issue 99.9 % of the time, dirt dabber nest restricting the exhaust air flow.

In addition to dirt dobbers, we have tiny white spiders in the southeast and even a small spider web will block the air flow enough to prevent ignition.

Sail switch. They are finicky things and can get stuck open with cat and dog fur, dust, hair, etc..... Jump the switch terminals with a paper clip for 15 seconds while the fan is running to see if the furnace lights. I keep an extra one in my tool kit just in case. You can try to blow it out with a spray cleaner in a pinch. Sometimes you have to bend the sail ever so slightly to force the switch to close, but not so much that the sail hits the fan.
