Cargo slide installation

I am installing a full garage Morryde cargo slide in a 2022 Montana Legacy 3121RL. My only question is how can I tell if there are any electrical or plumbing runs in the floor It appears everything is overhead, but hydraulics for jacks could be along the I beans. Any advice or knowledge would be helpful as I want to avoid removing underbelly cover.
Thanks

Your plumbing is all behind the wall its not below the floor. your tanks are below there but you shouldn't hit them because there is a gap between the floorboard and tank. as far as hydraulic lines there run along bottom of the Ibeam no where near the subfloor. if you ever have to drop the chloroplast all the wires and hoses drop with it. just dont put real long screws in and you will be ok

I am guessing but I believe the floor is 3/4".
I would not use screws any longer than that.

I had to shim mine up 3/4 " last year when I installed to clear the lower door frames. I used 1 3/4" screws to be sure I got a good bite but didnt go too far beyound the floor base wood.

Hawk68, did you also buy the risers from MorRyde? We drove right up to the factory and they installed it there. They used about 3/4” screws through the brackets.

I installed one in our 2010 and reinstalled in our 2015. Did not hit anything either time.

Thanks guys

To all thanks 3/4 screws are perfect for a nice clean install, tight to the floor and the slide clears both door openings. Great item no more crawling into the garage.

Hi Hawk68,

We just bought a 2022 3121RL as well. Which Morryde cargo slide did you buy and if you don't mind my asking how much? I assume it was easy to install?

Thanks for any info.

Hawk68 when you get yours in can you measure the clearance from the slide to the cargo opening. I have a dewalt box that I store my smoker in and I would like to see if that would fit.

I installed one and used 8 1/2 inch wood screws. No issues at all

Cargo Slide - Morryde purchased from etrailer

Kathy G
Here is my purchase info - best price I could find at the time, long delay in shipping I assume supply chain issues.

MR69FR MORryde RV Cargo Sliding Tray - 90" x 29" - 2 Way Slide - 60 Percent Extension - 800 lbs
1 $637.45

to jness421 I assume you mean measure the clearance of the slide deck to the cargo bay opening? I will measure that on Friday as we are away for a few days.

I did not have to use risers as my bottom slide easily clears the bay, used 3/4 in screws and washers provided, Keystone told me the floor thickness is 5/8

Hi Hawk69, I see you installed the 90x29. I believe the width in my 3121RL would fit a 33 or even a 36. Any reason you went with the smaller width?

Thanks

Cargo Slide

Yes you can go with a variety of sizes, I want to put a small beverage refrigerator next to the slide, there is an electric outlet located there. Also I prefer to have a small amount of fixed floor space for long pole items I don't pull out very often.

Our tray had to be positioned approx 1 1/2 or 2 inches to clear the door frame on each side. It gives me enough room under the tray to store long washing poles and some other misc items.
