Converter-373RD -2020

Wanted to upgrade to lithium batteries. The inverter does not have the LI/LA SWITCH. Progressive Dynamics says there is a way on the converter to change output.

Some disassemble required.

We’ll see.

Best of luck, hope it works. You will love lithiums. Lighter weight, less space, less voltage drop and less time to charge. The only negative is the price.

I have a PD4575K18LS8 converter. It is not Lithium ready. I have been using it on my Lithium batteries for over two years now. By itself it doesn't quite get the batteries to 100%. Using the Charge Wizard mode button and putting it in boost mode Topps them off.
I also have solar panels with the MPPT set to lithium mode. They also keep the battery topped up.
I have no plans to change the converter.

as daryles said you can still charge the lithiums by using the mode button on your PD4575K18LS8 i also changed to lithiums and do not have a lithium ready converter/charger i called progressive and the tec told me either i had to change the unit out which is expensive or i could use the mode button to fully charge the lithiums like daryles said. here is a link for the mode button https://www.progressivedyn.com/wp-co...rd-Pendant.pdf
