Super Duty Degas Bottle Leak

I developed a small leak where the lower hose connects to the degas bottle on our ‘18 6.7 F350. First I replaced just the O ring but it still leaked. I then paid a shop to install a new hose. Still no improvement so I concluded it had to be the bottle itself (found a hairline crack). Discovered a new plastic bottle and an aluminum Mishimoto tank were roughly the same price. Did the installation myself. Not too bad at all. Everything is well engineered and the lower quick disconnect is eliminated. They have a very concise installation video on YouTube.

Is there some type of sight gauge to monitor the level of coolant? I didn’t see one in the photo.

Yes. It has a sight class. It’s the silver thing right below the vacuum line and above the battery cable.
