Yes a pure natural latex 4 inch topper. We have been sleeping on one for over 15 years and it’s like new. Latex is a heavy natural foam that supports like nothing else and never sagged. They come in firm to soft depending on the number of holes in it.

We have the 2 inch Novaform from Costco - I would rate it medium firmness. Really depends on the firmness you prefer and some say the toppers with tempur material feel hot after awhile. We tried one from Amazon and it was too soft resulting in my back getting stiff.

Couple other things to consider:

- If you have a shelf that hangs over the mattress, you might have to raise it due to the added thickness.

- Topper weight - they can be heavy and may affect your underbed storage box if it is cantilevered when the slide is closed. We had too much stuff in the box and the extra topper weight caused the bed box to come loose from the side wall. To address it, we took some of the stuff out and added rollers under and attached to the box so it wouldn't be cantilevered.

In the past with other campers we tried mattress toppers and found them to be more of an aggravation than helpful. Rather than attempting to put lipstick on the pig any more, we slaughtered the pig and had a good meal. Turned around and bought new mattresses. First camper mattress was the same we had in the house, a Serta. Second camper was a Serta. Current Fifth Wheel its a Helix. Not cheap by any means. But also, the absolute best we ever had. Click here. We also now have Helix mattresses in the house too.

We tried 2 inch memory foam topper. Not good enough.
Bought a Sleep Number king. Love it.

We have had Sleep Number in 3 5vers. First was in an Alpha, we were full-time the cost was justified. Second trailer we moved the Sleep Number and switch the mattress's out. We notice the bottom of the Sleep Number was wearing out. I cut up a couple of cheap plastic tarps and put across the plywood base and stapled the tarp on bottom of the plywood.
taking #4 5ver out for first trip. I purchased tarps and will cover the plywood. it will protect the mattress and make sliding it around to change sheets.

Went with the sleep number. Best decision for both of us. Individual settings so nice.

We sleep on a generic Sleep Number king size mattress at home and love it. Wife sleeps on soft setting and I sleep on firm. Had an opportunity to buy a used Sleep Number r5 king( made to fit a 5er slide out) for cheap and jumped on it. Great mattress for our 5er. Much better than a standard mattress with a topper.

Our personal opinion best mattress you can have. We have on in the Montana. We have a trip planned this week to take trailer out for first trip. As soon as we get back we are replacing a ten year old king mattress with a sleep number for the stick and brick home.

We purchased a 4" thick memory foam topper online from Sam's club. It was shipped to me for free. It is very nice, but it is also very hot. I wish I would have know that before ordering it. You can get a gel filled topper, and that is supposed to be better. For now, I think I am going to put my topper on the bottom under my factory mattress. I'm hoping this will still give me comfort with out the heat. Not sure how this will work, but costs nothing to try it.

Have to agree with Dutchman on this one - and thankful that we did. We too had tried the foam topper route and wound up greatly disappointed. DW twisted my arm until I cried uncle and ordered a Brooklyn Bedding Signature with pillow top. Kicking myself for not doing so way sooner. Best sleep either of us have had in ages.

We replaced the crappy mattress after our first 3 week trip. Odd maybe, but went with a Northern Nights Hybrid from QVC. More comfortable than one would think. We have a pricey Serta at the sticks and bricks house that cost 4 times as much and is really not much better.

Did have a topper that didn't help too much. I cut it up to fit a 3/4 bed. Too hot and hard to make the bed.

So the lift does not work due to the weight, but I use a prop when I need to open it.

Removed the shelves and replace with little cell phone holders. Kept whacking elbows on those shelves anyway.

We've had 3 different mattresses & so far Purple has been the best. I've never tried a Sleep number though.

The best night of sleep, and the worst night of sleep for me and my wife, were both on a Sleep Number mattress. Not the same one, but both Sleep Number mattresses. We were traveling and stayed in a Raddison Inn near the airport in Indianapolis, IN and experienced THE best mattress possibly in the entire world. We HAD to have one! We ordered one, top of their line and paid for expedited delivery. The first night after receiving our dream mattress was horrible! I called Sleep Number customer service the next day and expressed my disappointment with their product. I told them about the night in the Raddison and THAT was the mattress I wanted. I was informed that the mattresses in the Raddsion Inns were made especially for them and were not available for purchase otherwise. I paid for expedited pickup to have the POS that they delivered to us removed and returned. Needless to say, we're no longer fans of the Sleep Number mattresses. Unless, of course, you happen to be staying in a Raddison Inn. At least the one near the airport in Indianappolis, IN.

3" memory firm foam pad worked great for us.

We had a custom made latex foam mattress made. Wasn't terribly expensive, made in 2016, and is still great.

We have a latex mattress over 20 years old and still like new. Latex is the most comfortable foam mattress and will last almost forever.
