We normally run 5-7 gallons of fresh water in the tanks while traveling, knowing that is good for a few flushes and hand washing. Even in the Corps of Engineers parks we can fill our fresh water tank as necessary.
We get low enough fuel mileage without the unnecessary added weight of a tank full of water.
