Stabilizing Montana 2023 Model 3760FL

I want to add stabilization jacks to the rear end of my Montana. It is in a permanent camp site so we want it to be as solid as we can get it. The only visible and easily accessible location is to put some simple stabilizing jacks on the frame of the trailer hitch. Is that ok? Should I look for the trailer frame instead? It is completely enclosed underneath due to the all season package.

You can feel the trailer frame through the coroplast. You will get best results putting stabilizers from the ground up to the frame. We also found C-Chocks between the tires helps firm up the unit.

Those scissor jacks are not very stable. You might be better off getting some screw jacks to place under the frame. https://www.amazon.com/Yaegoo-Stabil...83189743&psc=1

Jack it up a few inches to take the weight off the springs, then let it down on concrete blocks

When I read the first post, this was my thought exactly. I have 4 of these I've used on different trailers over the years. I got them at a yard sale (believe it or not). My dad had a set he used on our 1963 travel trailer when it was new. Amazing, all these years and they are still selling the same identical ones, they haven't changed a bit.

They do work well, require no attachments to the trailer, and can be moved around at will.

As stated above, press upwards on the Coloplast (underbelly) of the camper and you can easily feel the frame. Also, the screws holding up the Coloplast will be attached into the frame. Follow the screws.

MorRyde has a stabilizer that fits into the trailer hitch and works really well

I was looking at the screw jacks above. How do you actually raise the trailer? Seems like trying to twist these while under the rig would be a very difficult job.
Edit: I suppose you have to use a hydraulic jack and then place these underneath????

twindman: Those screw jacks are stabilizers only. The are not intended to lift the RV. I used them on my old 2855. Just place them under the frame and turn the handle until tight. The do stop the bounce and flex.

I'm assuming based on the year and model that you have hydraulic level up jacks. Since it's a permanent site, I would just get it level, then raise the real slightly and place cement blocks under the frame and let it back down.
