This is just a little plug for Natchez Trace State Park.

Until we started full time RVing we never ventured into Tennessee except to transit somewhere else. When RVing we took the time to look around and explore some of this large state. That’s how we found Natchez Trace SP.

We found the web site and decided seeing would be believing. We booked a 10 day reservation in the Pin Oak CG.

I still don’t think we saw the entire park. It’s huge with numerous attractions to keep the whole family busy.

Our RV parking site was FHU (50 AMP) and was one of the largest we ever had at any state or federal park. Our site payment receipt allowed us to fish anywhere in the park. Right across the road next to our site there was a path down to a clear lake where I always caught some fish.

Spring is almost here. Read the link provided above.

Thanks this park will be perfect for us. It’s 7 hours from our home and over half way to The Land Between The Lakes on the way to our happy Boondocking places, the Shirley Basin and Union Pass.

How far is the park fron the interstate 40? I think we might have stayed there in 2012. Also is there a church in the park grounds?

Pin Oak CG is a hidden gem in West TN. I live in Virginia Beach, but am from West TN. Stay at Pin Oak whenever in the area visiting family. It is 11 miles from I40 on a winding road.
