Grease on brakes

New on here so please be patient with us. Recently had a wheel bearing leak and the grease got on the brake pads on one wheel. I was told that the leak was bad enough that it is all over the brakes (electric) and the backer plate. I was also told I would have to replace all of the backer plates and brakes as I should not replace only the one that was leaking. This does not sound correct to me. I don't see how the grease would reach the other wheel on the opposite side of the trailer, nor the other axle....yes, it is tandem axles. FYI, this is a relatively new rig, a 2020 Keystone Montana High Country. We have only put on about 8,000 miles on it. Would appreciate some expert advice on this. Thanks
