Living Room Slide creak
Hi All,
Looking for some advice here, and haven't found anything matching so far. Our passenger side large living room slide floor makes a creaking noise when you step on one spot, about dead center on the inner edge of the slide right about over where it meets the trailer floor. I think it has done this since day one, though sometimes in different leveling scenarios it is not noticeable. I thought maybe it had to do with being off level, but I've tested in pretty level scenarios and it doesn't seem to make a difference. The slide goes in and out fine, and looking at the underside I don't see anything that looks damaged, and the leading edge of the slide coming in looks fine if I look under the rug. It's just right under where the seat for the dinette is, so anytime someone steps there to sit down it makes a noise. It's not hydraulic stiction, I know what that one sounds like and have fixed it in our jacks. It's a creak or a click, and if anyone has had this and found a solution I would love to hear it. Thanks!
