Glass in cabinet doors

We have a 2018 3120RL and have noticed places in the frosted glass on the cabinet doors where items inside the cabinets have caused scratches. I assume it happens while we are traveling. Has anyone had this problem and if so do you have any suggestions short of emptying all of the cabinets every time we move to solve the problem?

Glenn- I don't know if you are using anything between the plates or whatever is in the cabinets with the frosted glass or if you have anything on the shelving that will stop the items from moving but if not I would suggest adding some of the shelf liner to the shelves and possibly between items so they do not move while traveling down our "overly smooth highways" across the USA. We have also taken window tinting and put on the back of the frosted glass doors. This way folks can't see the clutter in the cabinets! LOL

My wife uses towels to cushion anything against rubbing the windows but that window tint sounds like an even better solution. Does it stick well to that pebbled backside as my experiences years back with that stuff is that it required a smooth surface

We have a 2017 3160 with the tinted glass type windows. We cut “swimmy” tubes to size and place between the window and contents. Keeps everything from sliding around. I also use plate holders to keep my plates and bowls in place plus the swimmy. Swimmy tubes are the styrofoam tubes you see on RV slides. We purchased at dollar stores. Cheap way to take care of the issue. Hope this helps.

Krylon and probably Rustoleum have a rattle can of glass frosting paint. I've sprayed a gob of it on a piece of plastic and touched up, using an artist's brush other similar frosted glass. One problem - color will never match

Just line the inside of the cabinet glass with a heavy poster board cut to fit the glass. No more rubbing and the glass is protected.

I too would be interested in the perfect gray. Our pantry door glass patterned decal got scratched down low. I have not tried any “fixes” yet.

If you remove a door and take it to a paint store, they can match the color and get you what you need to touch up the scratches. Then put poster board or chip board over the inside of the glass after the paint dries. I used poster board cut to fit and glue stick to adhere it.

Maybe to frost the glass again you could use artificial snow in a can, like they sell at Christmas time for making glass look like it's snow covered? Don't know how well it would hold up over time, but who knows. Sometimes you've just got to think outside the box and experiment a little.

Ours are grey inside, but if all you need is frosted glass, Home Depot and Lowes sells glass frosting in a spray paint can.
