North American Fall Rally Ham Radio Testing Session - UPDATED

The Ham Radio Licensing Session is a GO for the Rally!


This session will be held, during the Rally, in the Evening (date TBD).


We will be administering the TECHNICIAN, GENERAL & EXTRA versions of the Amateur Radio Licensing Exam. No fee for Testing. An FRN Number is required for testing. (Link Below)
If you pass, you will have to pay the FCC a $35 fee at a later date.



Self-study, prior to Rally IS A MUST! You must be prepared, on your own, in order to have a successful testing session.


An additional Link is provided for study material and information, or to ask questions. Click on the COMMUNITY Tab, in the Brown header above, GO TO Social Groups, and click on HAM FOR RVERS. Once you have requested to become a Member, we will Add you to the Forum (Social Group).

Thank you to all the VE’s and the coordinators for putting on the Ham test session. It is not something I ever considered until it was offered at rally. Hopefully this becomes an annual event. Maybe I’ll go for my Extra Class next year. Hopefully someone Carrie’s forward with the MOC Ham Club. According to the Technician exam, all we need is 4 members to start a club. We have more Extra Class members than that. Thanks again.
