Splendide Washer/Dryer Spin Vibration

Whenever my Splendide washer/dryer (one unit) goes into the spin cycle the entire front of my 2015 RL 3100 Montana starts to vibrate as the drum turns. Is this normal? This is my first RV with a washer/dryer and is seems a bit excessive.

I would make sure it is level, with all legs firmly on the floor.

Also if you are on soft ground you may have to relevel your rv, they get uneven after awhile.

As said above but there is some shanking that will happen pending on what’s being washed. Our 3160RL shakes some.

You might be doing too large of a load. Ours very seldom shakes our unit, unless a heavy object gets unbalanced, then just pause the spin cycle and rearrange the clothes.

At least only the front of the trailer shakes. Ours feels like someone hitched us up and drove off like they stole it.

The shake is normal we reduce it using strong arms on the landing gear. they bolt on.

Ours produces a vibration. The amount depends on what is in the load. Heavier loads produce a heavier vibration.

Our SOB had the W/D in the front upper bedroom, it would shake the kids out of their bunks. our current Montana has the W/D in the kitchen over the axels, minimal shaking at all now, love it

I was told this happens a lot. I was advised to use a tripod stabilizer on the front king pin which takes away the vibrstion.

sounds like many of us have experienced vibration during the spin cycle. has anyone tried a king pin stabilizer?

Gave one away but it too a while to find a newbie to take it!

Splendide stackable and we get some vibration. It is between middle and rear jacks so that may help a little.

I had the same problem in my FB3900

We had a side-by-side washer dryer in the front nose too. Spin dry just about rattled your fillings out of your teeth. A TRIPOD on the front hitch helped immensely! Cut it down down by at least 75%. Inexpensive way to help the shake.

Earthquake in 3813MS

If I didn't know bette,r I would swear we were having an earthquake (we live in southern CA) when our washer goes on spin cycle sometimes, even with a single pair of jeans. King pin stabilizer didn't seem to help any. Might try the strong arms next.

We have the side by side units and when the washer cranks up that spin dry cycle the whole RV moves. It's only for a few minutes, no biggy and the clothes come out very dry so I don't have to run the dryer so long. Especially important on solar.

We used a king pin tripod. It helped, but we still had some vibration on spin. Ours is in the nose. BTW, we have a Goose Box now or we'd still use the tripod.

Does it vibrate with an empty load? If not, all is well...

Vibration

One additional idea which I did was place carpet padding (this is what I had available at the time but carpet or dense pool noodle are alternatives) between the wall and the washer/dryer (both walls and full height of the unit)
This will stabilize and should reduce the vibration from getting out of control thereby reducing the vibration
Just a thought
Worked for us
