If it's just a patch I would be more inclined to think it was a locked up brake....And yes RIB's are a very good tire as well as most any LT tire should do if you have 6000 lb axles and Marathons. If you do a search you will find many lengthy posts on this subject.. But most of all get rid of the Marabombs......
