Battery while hooked up to AC

Do you leave your battery on while hooked up to 120 VAC? I have been, but just want to be sure that's what I should be doing?

Sure, that's the way they are designed to work....and that's how they get charged.

Lil red, if you turn off the battery it also turns off the charger. As said before, leave your batteries on.

In the last nine years I have turned the battery cutoff switch off one time ..that was during battery replacement

Your converter output will of course run all 12 volt DC items except slides and leveling system without the battery cutoff switch ON

However. The battery will also go dead fairly quick if you turn the cutoff switch to the off position

Turning the battery cutoff switch to the off position Does Not turn off the converter

ChuckS, I believe it is just the opposite. You can run slides and leveling with selector off. They are wired direct to the battery. You will also run your gas detector and other parasitic loads. In my opinion, that red switch has caused more confusion over the years than anything.
