Omg!!! Great call on the trailer brake magnet. Drove from Denver to Tucson, AZ to pick up my 2020 Montana Legacy 3930FB only to find out the disc brakes would not communicate with the brake controller on my 2020 Chevy 3500. Spent a day trying to find out what to do. This forum solved the issue. Went to O'Reilly's and picked up a magnet and wired it in. Worked like a charm. Made it home with no issues.
