When we still had a home without wheels, our fridge did this one time, and it turned out to be a fan stopped working that moved cold air from the freezer area into the refrigerator area.

Residentail fridge

We had the same problem. Checked Youtube for fixes. We took everything out of the fridge and freezer. Let it defrost over night. Then replugged the fridge back in. Everything is working just fine. It's be two month now, working great.

We laid dry trowels in the bottom just in case.

Our refrigerator was doing this the day we picked our unit up back in July. Took it back and they replaced the unit. We just got the unit back last Saturday.
