Tri fold sofa

We have a new 3931fb. Is there anyway to adjust the sofa when it is folded out. The part that is closer to the wall is lower than the other end. Like sleeping with your head running down hill.
Thanks

I removed the feet and placed wood blocks in-between.

We have 2" memory foam to fill that "gap" at the head (next to the wall. It goes underneath along with the blankets when not in use.

We have a 3920FB, bascially same trailer as yours. I raised the low end of bed by putting 1 inch blocks under back legs. The sofa was screwed to floor on mine so you may have to unscrew to raise sofa to slip blocks under. Made a huge difference in sleeping comfort.
I thought the blocks might effect sitting comfort but it was not noticable.

Lowered the outside edge of the sofa

We had the same issue and slept with it like that a few times but then figured out how to lower the feet on the outside. It’s been a couple of years and don’t remember the specifics but it can be done. Good luck!

Horrible design

Keystone sure made a big mistake on this design, couches cannot be slept on from factory, we gave up and bought a high end air mattress with inner coils and have never used the couches again. BIG MISS by the designers.

Solution?

Make the bed up with your head into the room / feet at the wall. It’s a solution!

That is how we have always slept in the bed. Gives a nice view out of the back window.

Our front living room Montana has 2 of those tri fold couches facing each other. We have tried just about everything to make them more comfortable. Yes, the end closest to the wall seems to go downhill. We tried foam toppers. We tried an added 4 inch air mattress. Nothing seemed to work. It still felt like everything was going down hill. We even tried reversing, with our heads in the middle of the room and our feet toward the wall. This helped, but still very uncomfortable.

Slide topper did just that ..... slid around. Horrible. Air mattress did the same thing. Air mattress on the top was worse. The joints in the middle of the couches were horrible too, even with 4 inches of air on top of them.

Finally, we gave up completely. We purchased as 12 inch blow up air mattress that came with it's own built in air pump that inflates and deflates. Our current one even retains the correct air, so if it leaks out slightly the motor turns on keeping it properly inflated.

AND.... we don't even attempt to put it on the fold out couches any more. We just set it on the floor, between the couches in the upper living room. This one sleeps much, much better.

We don't use it very much, only when our son and grandson come along with us. This was our solution. As a couch they aren't bad, so we don't want to get rid of them. As a bed, no matter what you do, they are horrible.

If you have the space to do likewise, I suggest, rather than making modification, purchasing foam toppers (or should I say ... slide toppers), or a el-cheap-o air mattresses, just pick up one of those 11 or 12 inch blow up air mattresses from Wall Mart in the camping section. You'll pay around $100 for it, but if you or your guests or family are actually sleeping on those couches, they'll appreciate a good solid, very thick ... on the floor air mattress.

I had no idea how awful the trifold beds were until I slept on one of mine. My kids never complained about it. This mod took about an hour to do with some 3/8 rod and some nuts. You can see from the first pic how off the beds are from the factory.
We still use a 2” foam topper on it to even out the cushions.
