Big 3

Interesting collection of newer tow vehicles parked at the RV Park. Probably $250,000 worth of trucks.

And I live in a $20,000 house. How mixed up is this?

If they are all new, and bought this year, could even be over $300,000.

We ordered new RAM and Montana 2 years ago. The dealers for both were just getting back to selling things after the lockdown, so we got great deals.

I looked up MSRP for both now, having heard that discounts off that have been hard to find; the difference to buy the same truck and 5th would be almost $100k more than what we paid! And, that is without the fact that, at least on the truck side, many dealers are adding a "market adjustment fee" of several thousand $$s per unit.

The crazy times seem to be far from over with!

I’m guessing that was the original purchase price. We bought our 1st house in 1973 for $12,500.
In 1983 bought my wife a new Nissan Maxima for $13,500, $1k more than the house.
In 1984 we sold that house for $50,000.
And prices are far crazier now than then.

Bill it kinda wasn’t the purchase price. I built it myself. I had never even built a bird house before. I don’t know why I thought I could build a house, stupid I guess. The payment after we paid 10 K down was almost a $100 a month, scared me to death. That was 46 years ago. We still live in it and wouldn’t take a million for it.
